VMU Agriculture Academy mixed choir “Daina”
Daina is one of the oldest choirs in Lithuania, with a history spanning more than 100 years. Throughout its long existence, the choir has been a significant part of the university’s musical culture and beyond. Its primary goal was to introduce students without formal musical training to the art of choral singing, to promote it, and to nurture it within the university community, across Lithuania, and internationally.
The choir contributed to students’ artistic development, fostered a sense of community, and ensured the continuity of choral tradition. The ensemble participated in concerts and represented the university at various events and projects.
The choir was led by Ramunė Navickienė.
