Student Festival “Linksminkimos” 2025: Main Festival Concert
The student folk music festival “Linksminkimos” will take place in Vilnius on November 7–9, featuring performances by student song and dance ensembles, dance groups, folk music bands, and folk instrument orchestras from Lithuanian higher education institutions.
The main festival concert will be held on November 8 at 3 p.m. at the Dance Theatre of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art. The program will include instrumental works from the golden repertoire as well as new compositions by young composers and choreographers—dance pieces and arranged folk songs.
Celebrating folk songs, dances, and instrumental traditions, the festival “Linksminkimos”, organized by the Lithuanian National Culture Centre, is rooted in the traditions of folk music ensembles and shares its spirit and vision with the international student song and dance festival “Gaudeamus”.
