VMU Arts Festival – Performances by All Arts Centre Ensembles and the Spirit of Europe Day

On May 9th, Vytautas Magnus University hosted a special Arts Festival, featuring performances by all ensembles of the VMU Arts Centre – from choirs and dance groups to theatrical and musical collectives. Dedicated to celebrating Europe Day, the event invited everyone to honor the freedom of creativity, cultural diversity, and the sense of togetherness that unites us as both an academic and European community.

The stage came alive with the results of a year’s creative work – dances, songs, and theatrical sketches. Each ensemble shared its own expression of the vibrant artistic life that thrives within VMU.

Performers included:

  • VMU Academic Choir Vivere Cantus
  • VMU Folklore Ensemble Linago
  • VMU Folk Dance Ensemble Žilvitis
  • VMU Ballroom Dance Studio
  • VMU Agriculture Academy Folk Music Band Ūkininkas
  • VMU Agriculture Academy Folk-Dance Group Sėja
  • VMU Agriculture Academy Theater Jovaras
