VMU Agriculture Academy Folk Music Band “Ūkininkas” Delighted the Audience of “Grok, Jurgeli”
On Saturday, October 18, lovers of Lithuanian music gathered at Kaunas Sports Hall. The celebration “Grok, Jurgeli,” which has become a beautiful autumn tradition, once again brought together the best folk bands from all regions of Lithuania for its final concert. Over the course of several hours, numerous Lithuanian songs were performed, while dreamy waltzes and lively polkas invited the bravest audience members to rise from their seats and spin across the dance floor.
The VMU Agriculture Academy folk music band “Ūkininkas” appeared at the festival as special guests, choosing well-known and beloved pieces for their repertoire this time. The audience warmly embraced the classics of Lithuanian estrada music and sang along together.
