“Vivere Cantus” Performed Songs at the Screening of the Film “Šventė”
Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) Academic Choir “Vivere Cantus” participated in the screening of the film “Šventė,” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Lithuanian Song Celebration, and performed Donatas Zakaras’ arrangement of the piece “O kai sauliūtė tekėjo.”
At the end of the film, together with all the gathered audience members, they sang Juozas Gudavičius’ piece “Kur giria žaliuoja.”
The Lithuanian Song Celebration is more than just a tradition. It is a living history, a phenomenon that unites us all!
