Join the Arts Centre collectives!

Vytautas Magnus University students are invited to register and join the Arts Centre’s collectives in the spring semester of 2021-2022.

All VMU students are eligible to attend the activities of the art groups, regardless of where and what they are studying (e.g., if you are studying Public Communication, you can attend the VMU ŽŪA folk music band “Ūkininkas”).

Activities are free of charge for VMU students and university alumni are also welcomed to join the artistic activities. You can register for several classes, so you are welcome to join the groups offered by the VMU Arts Centre and actively participate in the Arts Centre activities.

IMPORTANT: when attending art activities, we encourage everyone to be aware and follow the guidelines to stay healthy and reduce the risk of coronavirus infection: keep a safe physical distance, wash your hands regularly, and if you are required to be isolated or have symptoms of a cold or other contagious illness, stay home.

Registration for art activities

REGISTRATION: Students who wish to act, dance, sing or play must join one (or several) of the VMU Arts Centre groups based in Kaunas, Akademija (Kaunas district) or Vilnius. You can do this by registering for the ongoing activities by following three steps:

  • log in to the student portal (studentas.vdu.lt) and select the Registration / Arts Centre Groups tab from the menu bar
  • select the desired activities of the art groups, the group, the time and the day
  • click the Enrol button.

Once you have registered for an Arts Centre group, you can start attending its rehearsals immediately.

You can see the VMU Arts Centre groups’ sessions at the top of the Registration / Arts Centre Groups section of the student portal (studentas.vdu.lt). You can also opt-out of the activities of the selected groups in the portal if you want to drop them or if you do not wish to attend them.
