Creative Workshop with Dominykas Vaitiekūnas – A Celebration of Stage Confidence and Creativity
On the evening of October 8, an exceptional creative workshop with performing arts professional Dominykas Vaitiekūnas took place in the Great Hall of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU). Students who gathered for the event had the opportunity not only to become more closely acquainted with the secrets of stage art, but also to become part of the creative process themselves.
The workshop began by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere – Dominykas invited participants to let go of tension, get to know one another, introduce themselves, and build trust in themselves and each other. Through various practical exercises, participants developed stage confidence, improvised, learned how to maintain the audience’s attention, and how to create a genuine and sincere connection with the public. Drawing on his experience in music, theatre, and television, Dominykas Vaitiekūnas shared insights about the creative process, shaping a stage image, and the importance of inner authenticity.
The evening ended with plenty of smiles and inspiration. For many, it was not only an opportunity to expand their creative boundaries, but also to rediscover self-confidence and the joy of being on stage.
