During VMU Orientation Days, we invite you to explore the activities of the VMU Arts Centre
On Monday, 26 August, the VMU Orientation Days 2024 events will begin. While exploring the university and the opportunities it offers, all first-year students are invited to participate in activities organized by the VMU Arts Centre.
On Tuesday, 27 August, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Square (S. Daukanto st. 28, Kaunas), the VMU Arts Centre ensembles and collectives will welcome you with presentations, performances, and a fair, where you can enjoy showcases of ballroom and folk dances, the folk ensemble, the amateur theatre, the folk band, and the choir. You will also have the chance to learn how to join these groups.
So, come along and get to know them! If you find a group you’re interested in, feel free to join, as registration for artistic activities opens on 26 August.
The Vytautas Magnus University Arts Centre unites various art collectives and supports individual student creative initiatives. It provides opportunities for activities in dance, movement, acting, and music culture, promoting the university’s name at competitions, art fairs, and festivals in Lithuania and abroad.
You can join the VMU Arts Centre collectives in Kaunas, Akademija (Kaunas district), or Vilnius, participating in dance, choir, folklore, ballroom dance, theatre, or music activities. More information about individual groups and other artistic opportunities at the university can be found here.
