VMU Solo latino dance group
Solo Latino classes were designed for girls and boys who wanted to spend time actively and enjoyably moving to dance rhythms, improve body lines, experience freedom of movement, and enjoy positive emotions. The classes focused on Latin rhythms, with a repertoire that included salsa, bachata, rumba, cha-cha-cha, and reggaeton. Other dance styles –such as contemporary dance, show dance, and various movement forms – were also integrated into the lessons to expand participants’ movement possibilities and expressive range. The Latin moves learned could be applied in social settings, at parties, or in partner dancing.
Classes were conducted solo (individually), while the group was prepared for performances at various events and competitions.
The collective was led by Greta Murauskienė.
