“GameOn Live” with VMU Chamber Orchestra

On 15th of November, 2019, at the “GameOn Live” Convention of the Game Culture, VMU Chamber Orchestra will bring the virtual experience to the real world and perform the tunes heard hundreds of times in fantastic computer games. “GameOn Live” has soundtracks from many adventure and action-packed games: “League of Legends”, “RuneScape”, “God of War 4”.

Music in video games has long been one of the most important elements that not only sets the tone of the game, but also lets you delve into the deepest layers of fantasy. Now in its third year, “GameOn Live” offers a virtual experience to take to the real world and hear live music heard hundreds of times on the game world.

Over a hundred performers will create extraordinary experiences for the audience on stage. The combined forces of “GameOn Live” include the VMU Chamber Orchestra, wind and percussion groups, the KTU Academic Choir “Jaunystė” and the singing group “Dangi&D4” and soloists of the A. Kačanauskas Music School. The conductor of the project is talented Martynas Staškus. The project manager is Rita Bieliauskaitė.

This year, the organizers are inviting you to hear even more amazing creations not only from video games but also from the movie worlds.

“GameOn Live” will take place on 15th of November, at Litexpo Hall 3 (Laisvės Ave 5, Vilnius).
